On August 10, the much-anticipated Tarte Beach House officially opened its doors. The stunning new venue, nestled on the banks of Currumbin Creek, is two venues in one. Downstairs, you may have the same Tarte Bakery & Cafe experience you know and love from Burleigh, while upstairs, you can enjoy breakfast, brunch, and even a late lunch with a glass of fine wine while overlooking the Currumbin Creek.

The Bread Social Currumbin
If you adore baked products, put The Bread Social Currumbin on your must-visit list. A wonderful shop selling organic sourdoughs to light buttery pastries is just a few minutes from the resort.
Friends Tom Scott, Sammy Saulwick, and Paul Giddings have launched their most ambitious initiative after eight years of baking from The Farm Byron Bay. The complex is under construction; however, the kiosk is now open. You’ll be able to dine at their 120-square-meter interior café with alfresco seating, a pastry room, and a state-of-the-art industrial bakery that will serve as The Bread Social’s new headquarters by the end of the year.
Tank Bar & Dining
Let us now travel a bit further, yet still within easy reach of The Rocks Resort. Located on the Gold Coast Highway in the well-known Palm Beach area, Tank Bar & Dining opened its doors earlier this year. The brand-new two-story Palm Beach bar, based after its sister, Bine Bar & Dining in Nobby Beach, blended seamlessly into Palm Beach’s dining scene.
If you’ve been to Bine before, you’ll know it’s all about outstanding cuisine, beer, and even better times! Tank Bar & Dining is well-known for its craft beers and well-balanced meals. With ten rotating craft beer taps featuring local and international brews, as well as a vast, family-friendly menu, you’ll find plenty of reasons to return.
