On April 25, the Currumbin RSL Dawn Service will be at Elephant Rock on Currumbin Beach. The Rocks Resort is ideal if you’re seeking accommodation near the dawn service on the Gold Coast.
The resort is only an 8 to 10-minute drive from Coolangatta Airport in Queensland’s Currumbin Beach. Also, the accommodation is the only resort on Currumbin Beach between Currumbin Rock and Elephant Rock.
The Currumbin Beach accommodation offers apartments with ocean views and is only a short distance from one of the coast’s favourite surf beaches. Each one, two, and three-bedroom apartment has a private balcony and is entirely self-contained. In addition, visitors have access to various leisure facilities and dawn services. Visitors can park safely and securely in covered spaces and then stroll to Elephant Rock.

This year, the region illuminates Throwers Bridge in Currumbin and Elephant Rock at Currumbin Beach.
Currumbin RSL Walk4remembrance
April 23
Seize the opportunity to raise awareness of the veterans who have lost their lives fighting for their country. Participating in the Currumbin RSL Walk for Remembrance and contributing to funding initiatives that assist veterans can help eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness.
The 8-kilometre walk will begin this year in Currumbin RSL Reserve by the stream, with Tugun Surf Life Saving Club as the halfway point. To continue providing veterans with top-notch care and services, the Veteran Support Center will receive all funds from the Currumbin RSL Walk4Remembrance. Register now because the deadline is April 16.

The club’s doors open to the public at 12:30 pm. At this point, the classic Australian game Two Up begins. The classic coin-flipping match known as “two-up” allows players to wager money on the flip’s outcome. It usually lasts from midday to dusk on ANZAC Day and draws sizable audiences. It has associations with respect and commemorating fallen soldiers, and it’s a great way to spend an afternoon once a year.
