After a huge 30-date tour of Europe, the US, UK, and Ireland, American comedy icon Demetri Martin goes back to Australia and NZ for his famous Wandering Mind Tour!
The standup comedian, writer, and director started his standup comedy career in New York City. His first job was as a staff writer for Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Demetri then became a show regular on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Demetri has won a couple of awards such as the Perrier Award for best show at the Edinburgh Fringe. He has also won a Barry at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He’s been prolific, releasing three stand-up comedy albums and four Specials. The Overthinker, his latest for Netflix, is another high profile project. He has made the rounds in the talk shows appearing in Jimmy Kimmel, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and many more.
Demetri creates important Things With Demetri Martin. He also stars in the show. His books are New York Times Bestsellers, appearing The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Esquire. He has film aspirations as well as he recently debuted his feature film, written and directed by him. His movie, Dean, won the Founder’s Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival for the best narrative American feature film.
