Movies at The Junction
The Junction is a place to connect, eat, and work. The cafe is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Enjoy coffee, teas, juices, bacon & egg brioche buns, ham & cheese croissants, muesli & chia cups, and other tasty treats are available. However, The Junction also hosts movie screenings.
At 9:30 a.m., enjoy a free movie in the spacious auditorium with ample seating. On October 10, you can watch Fried Green Tomatoes. It’s about a housewife unhappy with her life and befriends an elderly lady in a nursing facility who enthrals her with stories about people she used to know.
Feast on Fifth 2023
Feast on Fifth will return to Palm Beach on October 14. It’s a free community event with live music, children’s activities, and food from local restaurants and businesses. There will also be a convoy of the Gold Coast’s most coveted food trucks, providing everything you need for a memorable Gold Coast afternoon! Attend between the hours of 4 and 9 p.m.
Fangtuary at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Take your children to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. During the day, you can see educational programmes and presentations and interact with animals. And attend the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s annual Halloween event.
The Fangtuary is from October 26 to 28. After dark, there will be a variety of Halloween family activities. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in costume to enjoy the festivities fully. It would also be good to wear one with the kids while you take them around the four Fangtuary zones. In addition to the entertainment in each zone, trick-or-treating stations will be available.
